GPOYW: Aloha Edition
My cousin got married here in 2006. It’s also where Jack got married on LOST, and (one of) The King Kamehameha Clubs in Magnum PI. I don’t know what spells better luck for the young couple than those two.

Doing my part to participate in the Julie Klausner Meem. Richmonders can pick up her book, I Don’t Care About Your Band at Chop Suey.

Thanks for the winter weather you no-good, stinkin’ varmint. Black Iris and The Martin Agency know how to party. More photos at Black Iris.

GPOYW: Custom Wrapping Paper Edition
While my plans may have been snowed out last Saturday, some of my friends still made the trek to Richmond and made the night worthwhile. It means so much to have such great friends, it’s just too bad mother nature is such an asshole sometimes.

GPOYW: Geeky Birthday Cupcakes
Thanks to Kelsey, Katia, Julia, and everyone who came out for taco night tonight and brought me cupcakes. It was the most fun one I’ve had in a while, and an awesome pregame for Saturday night. This snow isn’t gonna stop us (unless it does, in which case there’ll be a dance party in my dining room.) It’s a bit troubling though when your cupcakes are decorated with words like tumblr, twitter, iphone, and various gadgets. Check out some of Kelsey’s her awesome iPhone pics

GPOYW: Greatest Halloween Ever?
Looking back, maybe the “Hobo” mask wasn’t the most PC thing for a 10-year-old to have, but it was the wild-times of the 80’s where anything went and neon ruled the land. I love the fact that dad went as Pee-wee while Rob chose Phantom of The Opera (or some misfit version of it). Maybe they swapped costumes for some reason. This truly amazing relic was unearthed thanks to the trip home this holiday season.
While we’re on the topic of Pee-wee, East Coast fans should join the Bring Pee-wee to NYC fan page that Rob started.

GPOYW:Post Holiday NYC Escape
The uber-talented Andrew took this with my new camera at our brunch at Five Leaves. Note to self, NYC is not a pleasant place to visit during the winter, whether the holiday madness has faded or not. After this photo I braved the madness that is B&H, aimlessly took photos around the city, and then passed out at 9pm. I did, however, get to see the Tim Burton Moma Exhibit thanks to an awesome FOT, and see Shannon perform at Harold Night at UCB before I left town. I’ll come back when I can feel my toes at the end of the day.
